Jet Noise Riles McLean Residents

Members of the McLean Citizen's Association say that noise from planes flying in and out of Reagan National Airport is getting worse and are seeking help from Rep. Frank Wolf (R) and the FAA. Read about it in today's Metro section.

I read an interesting comment in the Post about all this. It went something like this:

Who was there first - the airport or the homes?

I used to live in Crystal City. I stopped noticing the planes after awhile!

Nevertheless, I remember being surprised how loud it is out on the river sailing between Arlington and Alexandria.

I wish the MCA luck with their noise pollution problem.
