Board Practices Secrecy It Decried
Less than 7 weeks went by after the board of supervisors complained about the lack of transparency in the process ofnegotatiing between Virginia and a comtractor on building the first phase of the Metrorail extension to Dulles--before its own deliberations went tark. Thkree times in the past six weeks, the board has convened in closed session to discuss---what else--the multibillion-dollar project.

It is called hypocrisy and it is is nothing new for the Fairfax BOS. Again and again our officials are saying "do what we say, not what we do." Truly shameful.
