Fairfax City decides on its budget tonight, with the possibility that its proposed 3-cent hike in the real-estate tax will be nixed, and a hike in the personal-property tax rate taking its place.

Will the Post have a story on this tomorrow? Will I have to wait for Thursday's "Extra" section"? Or will I have to do what I did to find out what happened at the meeting last week: Look it up at the Fairfax Times site, which covers community news?

I do hope the Post thinks this news is relevant enough to its readers to cover it in tomorrow's paper.
