Opposing Views on Open Doors to AP, IB Classes

I read the column in the Extra this morning. One of my children, who had a C+ took an AP course as a senior. He received a 4 on the test, thank you very much. My daughter was an A-B student and she multiple AP classes and did as well.

Reading about the difference between AP and IB, I believe that an IB diploma is a much easier road than those students that choose to receive an AP diploma. Just my opinion.
