Metro Hours This Weekend

Metrorail is going to open two hours early on Sunday, because of the Marine Corps Marathon. The trains will begin running at 5 a.m. The race should start at 8:15 a.m.

The buses that normally use the Pentagon Transit Center on Sunday will operate from Pentagon City instead Metrorail station instead between 4 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Of course, all this comes on the weekend when the clocks fall back an hour. Metrorail will operate on its usual hours Saturday night into Sunday morning. The system will close for the night at 3 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on Sunday.
