Get a Life
If your big Thursday night plan includes Chinese delivery and "The Office," get out and enjoy Life. Dining Out for Life offers an unbeatable excuse for splurging on a good meal out. Tomorrow, March 8, 150 local restaurants will contribute a percentage of sales to Food and Friends, a nonprofit organization that delivers meals to area residents with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other illnesses.
Standout restaurants include Colorado Kitchen, BlackSalt, Hank's Oyster Bar and Pesce. If you want the most for your money, Carlyle, Addie's, Freddie's Beach Bar and Ristorante Tosca will all donate a whopping 100 percent of sales. For the well-meaning who already have plans tomorrow night, Equinox is donating a portion of its sales next Thursday, March 15.
It's cold and somewhat dreary, so take advantage of an opportunity to cheer up with food and better karma. After all, isn't that what TiVo is for?
