Mike McCarty, assistant chief of the Montgomery County Urban Fire and Rescue, is in Mississippi with his team.

The group is using search dogs and rescue equipment to comb for survivors in the western Mississippi town of Waveland, described as a "ground zero" of flooding and destruction.
