Montgomery Ride On Food Drives

Commuters on Montgomery County's Ride On buses can help the many recently-arrived families affected by Hurricane Katrina with the "Give and Ride" program. Drop canned or nonperishable food items (or childrens items such as disposable diapers, formula, baby or toddler food or juice) into the collection bags on buses--and ride free. This program will be in effect from September 11 through Sept.17.

Additionally, residents may bring food donations to several drop-off points.  Please see this press release for more information.
