Partition: Not Viable Outcome
Sen. John McCain asked what the two officials think of "soft partition."
Amb. Crocker came out against selling off Iraq for parts. "Partition, in my view, is not a viable outcome," he said.
He didn't say what was.

McCain showed very weak in my observance.
I don't think his questions brought any of the answers that HE NEEDS.
I lived in Arizona for 10 years, and I do have a bias with this Senator. I have never seen a politician in my life, turn like he has.

Just because someone is educated about military affairs, doesn't mean they apply common sense or make the right decisions when it comes to military affairs.

How is more time, the staus quo' going to help people settle disputes they do not want to settle. The U.S. being in Iraq creates an excuse for not solving the problems that the Iraqis need to solve on their own.
