Do you notice how each senator, particularly the Democrats, begins by thanking the two men for their service to the country, etc. And then starts banging on them? Sen. Cardin is doing it right now. Thanks, fellas--"But I want to follow up on some of the frustration that's been expressed here."

sorry, but as usual it is the war mongers who are effusingly telling the 4 star general and the ambassador what a great job they are doing for their country. exactly the same thing they said to "cross the border" gonzo when he was on the hill. a few weeks later he was slinking away with his tail beteen his legs. 4 star and the ambassador will do the same, if not now, then when the history books are written.can you say "pretty boy powell.

Someone in the Pentagon is leaking to Newsweek that their own internal reports directly contradict what Petraeus is saying. No wonder he won't declassify his methodologies.
