Also--I don't think Georgetown is in. ESPNU just showed a list of consecutive NCAA tournament appearances, and Gtown was not listed. Gtown entered the day with the 2nd longest active streak.
Anyway, back to the show...

Christian - great scoop on a previous blog entry -- where you quoted a couple of different coaches who said Georgetown wouldn't get in because of that loss versus Penn State. Personally, I think this should cause some reevaluation of the entire program -- which is EASILY the most underachieving one in lacrosse.

Brown ties Cornell for the Ivy League title, posting identical 5-1 (league) and 11-3 (overall) records. They go into their final game ranked 14th in the nation, and beat No. 13 Princeton. They win 10 of their last 11 games, and have the nation's No. 1 goaltender (Jordan Burke -- 6.54 goals per game, .671 save percentage). And yet Brown doesn't get a bid, while 7-6 Loyola does. What a complete hose job...

That was the worst selection show ever. I am still waiting for them to tell us who goes where in the quarterfinals. What a joke.
