Today's Plan

The second round of quarterfinal games are being played today in Ithaca, N.Y. Both games are on ESPNU.

Top-seeded Duke plays Ohio State at noon. The second game pits No 6 Notre Dame and No. 3 Syracuse, at 3 p.m.

If you're like me and don't have ESPNU, there's a list of places showing the games a couple blog posts down from here. (Hopefully, though, unlike me at least you have paid your cable bill and the TV is working.)

Also, don't forget that Comcast SportsNet is showing the Bayhawks' game against the Barrage live at 2 p.m.

I'll be checking in after the doubleheader with some thoughts on those games and on why Maryland and Navy's seasons reminded me of a quote from the former football coach at Valdosta (Ga.) High.
