We have a medium sized very heavy cast iron griddle pan, square in shape. When we bought it I doubted we would use it much (I used a gift card), but it was a freebe so I could splurge. We LOVE it. I do steaks, boneless pork chops, hamburgers in it. It's not huge but will handle a medium size piece of fish, 4 chops, etc.
