Redding leaves game with injury

Uh-oh. Tim Redding cruised through the first three innings, retiring everyone he faced. He then allowed a single, a run-scoring double to Dan Uggla, a walk and then a two-run double to Josh Willingham. After a groundout, Willingham was on third, and Redding threw a pitch that got past Paul Lo Duca behind the plate.

Redding didn't cover the plate, and Willingham scored easily. But Redding just stood on the mound, doubled-over in apparent pain. He started straightening out his right arm, and pretty soon athletic trainer Mike McGowan, Manager Manny Acta and pitching coach Randy St. Claire were on the field.

Redding stayed bent over for several seconds, then walked back to the clubhouse with McGowan.

I'll get you an update as soon as I can. This may not be very good.
