Lannan's personal catcher gets the call. Still no Zimmerman.
Getaway day for the Nats, who are on to Arizona tomorrow (one hour time difference). Let's hope it's a quick one today.
A series win today and a successful six-game road trip could be a great way to build some momentum with St. Louis and San Francisco at home next week.

Sorry if this has already been discussed earlier, but Dave just reported that Maxwell has been placed on the 7-day DL for a wrist injury.

Phoenix doesn't change to daylight savings time, so there is no time difference between San Diego and Phoenix currently.

How is this jerk-face no-hitting us?
Posted by: Section 506 (Before moving) | May 29, 2008 4:10 PM
Jeez 596, it's only the top of the third. Besides, Lopez got a double, so you can stop fretting...

What, you don't want to get the scoop on any unannounced injuries? P-lo obviously doesn't parrot the company line...

It's so funny. I rarely even READ the lineups but I start to get antsy when we don't see them.
Thanks Chico.
One thing I'm starting to love that we didn't have last year, is the rythm of the same pitchers every 5 games.
