Skins on the Clock
Okay, so the Skins move up half a draft to get the 35th pick with their old trading budies, the J-E-T-Sw. They're 53rd pick is surely gone, and I am guessing at least their third round pick next season. We'll find out for sure in a moment. Nothing confirmed out here yet.
Have to think they're going linebacker here. My gut is the kid from Miami, Rocky McIntosh.

Is there a real reason to think that "Rocky" wouldn't have been availabe 20 picks later? He seems like a solid player, but based on the mock drafts floating around, it looked like he would have been available even in the third or fourth rounds. Granted mock drafts aren't everything, but I find them at least directionally correct.

Sneaky Jason, going with your gut on Rocky two minutes after he was selected. :).
Whether the team valued him more highly than they should is an open question, no doubt. With the run on linebackers, assuming you wanted a backer, you almost had to make a move of this sort as the quality was diminishing.
I knew a couple of hours ago he was our target and the team would move up to get him. The price is about what you'd expect, maybe even slightly valuing the Redskins if you read the value charts and project a fairly good Redskin team.

We gave up WAY too many draft picks for this guy.... unless... he's ROY.
I hope he wears #56.
LaVar who?
