Rams Add M. Williams
The St. Louis Rams signed running back Moe Williams, formerly of the Minnesota Vikings.
Williams was one of four Vikings players charged with misdemeanors for their conduct during last year's infamous boat cruise that produced allegations of lewd behavior by several players. He was convicted of disorderly conduct in April and was fined $300 and ordered to perform 30 hours of community service that benefits women or children.
It was said during Williams's trial that he was retired, but he and his representatives left open the possibility soon thereafter of him continuing to play. The Rams needed backfield depth with Marshall Faulk sidelined by knee troubles.
