Owners to Consider More Overseas Games

The NFL is considering a proposal to play two games overseas annually.

The team owners are to consider the proposal at a meeting scheduled for next month in New Orleans.

League officials considered a proposal to play a game in London this season, but scrapped the idea. Last season, the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers played a game in Mexico City.

The proposal first was reported by the Arizona Republic.

I first read the headline as: Owens to Consider More Overseas Games, and thought - man, they really cater to that guy.

Ridiculous idea. Exhibition is one thing, regular season is something else all together. What next, we get Euro soccer instead of a 4 PM game? Give me a break.
