Panthers Seem Likely to Have S. Smith on Sunday

Wide receiver Steve Smith likely will return to the Carolina Panthers' lineup on Sunday at Tampa.

Smith participated in the Panthers' practice today. He hadn't practiced the previous two weeks and missed the Panthers' first two games of the season because of an injured hamstring muscle.

The Panthers and Buccaneers will take identical 0-2 records into Sunday's matchup of teams that reached the NFC playoffs last season but are struggling mightily now.
