Parcells Says He Doesn't Have Owens Details
Dallas Cowboys Coach Bill Parcells said at an afternoon news conference that he didn't know the details of the Terrell Owens incident.
"I'm really not sure I know all of it right now, and that's the truth," Parcells said. "I saw some reports and stuff this morning just right before I went on the field [for practice], but I'm not really sure I know the whole thing."
Parcells said he wasn't sure of Owens's playing status or when the two would speak. After being asked a series of questions by reporters about Owens and saying repeatedly that he didn't know enough details to comment at length, Parcells cut off the questioning and left.
Before Parcells spoke, Cowboys spokesman Rich Dalrymple said: "This is a medical issue that involves an individual's personal health. When we have additional information on Terrell's condition as it relates to his playing status, we will share it with you."
