T. Green Says He'll Miss At Least Two More Games
Injured Chiefs quarterback Trent Green spoke to reporters today in Kansas City and said he will miss at least two more games.
Green suffered a concussion during the Chiefs' season-opening game against the Cincinnati Bengals. He was taken from the field on a stretcher and hasn't played since. Green said it would not be reasonable at this point to think he could return by Oct. 8.
He said he had given no thought to retiring and indicated he's displeased that the hit by the Bengals' Robert Geathers that resulted in his injury was not penalized by game officials or the league.
