Week 3 Picks
Local Teams
Redskins at Texans
There's still a chance that the Redskins are a good team temporarily playing badly. The Texans are a bad team.
Pick: Redskins
Ravens at Browns
The Ravens are for real.
Pick: Ravens
Lock of the Week
Titans at Dolphins
Jeff Fisher says that Billy Volek threw the Titans under the bus. But who pushed aside Steve McNair, then signed Kerry Collins and rushed him into the starting lineup like he was the next coming of Johnny Unitas?
Pick: Dolphins
Upset of the Week
Giants at Seahawks
The Giants return to the scene of the Noise Bowl and get the win they should have gotten last season.
Pick: Giants
Games of the Week
Bengals at Steelers
It's tough to think the defending Super Bowl champions are going to be 1-2 but the Bengals are very, very good.
Pick: Bengals
Jaguars at Colts
It's tempting to take the Jaguars with the Colts all beat up, but Peyton Manning finds a way.
Pick: Colts
Falcons at Saints (Monday night)
The Falcons have been running right over opposing defenses and they're probably the better team, but emotion carries the night for the Saints.
Pick: Saints
Other Games
Panthers at Buccaneers
It's now-or-never time for Carolina. (It's the same thing for the Bucs, but it's looking like it's "never" for them this season.)
Pick: Panthers
Bears at Vikings
Another tossup game in a week full of them. It could go either way but the Bears, in the long run at least, are the better team.
Pick: Bears
Broncos at Patriots (Sunday night)
These are two flawed teams right now, and the matchup doesn't quite pack the punch that it would seem to possess. There's no reason right now to pick a Jake Plummer-quarterbacked team against a Bill Belichick-coached club.
Pick: Patriots
Packers at Lions
Two bad teams going nowhere. Somebody has to win.
Pick: Lions
Jets at Bills
The Bills might not be as dreadful as they looked entering the season.
Pick: Bills
Eagles at 49ers
This is a dangerous game for the Eagles after the emotions of last weekend's folding act against the Giants and the loss of Jevon Kearse, but the 49ers might not have quite enough to pull off the upset.
Pick: Eagles
Rams at Cardinals
Don't trust the Rams on the road. Ever.
Pick: Cardinals
Record
Last Week: 11-5
Season: 20-12

Regarding the Titans VS Dolphins...right on Mark.
The Titans would not be so pathetic if they had not only kept but played Volek.
This is residue of the Oilers mentality.
Bad decisons in critical moments.
I hope Billy has a great season in SD, even if he does not get alot of snaps.
