Browns Call Carthon's Departure a Resignation

The Cleveland Browns announced the departure of offensive coordinator Maurice Carthon today as a resignation by Carthon that the team had accepted.

People around the league said that Carthon had been fired Monday, and that's how the transaction was depicted in several reports.
