Bucs Trade DT McFarland to Colts

The Indianapolis Colts obtained defensive tackle Anthony McFarland in a trade with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a second-round draft choice next spring.

The Colts are unbeaten entering Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins but their defense ranks last in the league against the run and is missing tackle Corey Simon, who's sidelined for the remainder of the season because of an illness.

The move came before the league's trading deadline passed at 4 p.m.

Oakland Raiders wide receiver Randy Moss and Buffalo Bills cornerback Nate Clements, whose names had come up in trade speculation in recent days, stayed put as the deadline passed.
