Crennel to Keep Closer Eye on Browns' Offense

Cleveland Browns Coach Romeo Crennel decided during his team's bye week not to fire offensive coordinator Maurice Carthon.

But Crennel has not given Carthon a complete vote of confidence, instead saying that he will take a more active role in overseeing the offense even though his expertise is on defense. Carthon has been heavily criticized this season, both from inside and outside the Browns' locker room.
