Garrard Works With Starting Offense as Leftwich Sits Out Jaguars' Practice
It's beginning to look like David Garrard might be the Jacksonville Jaguars' quarterback on Sunday at Philadelphia.
Jacksonville's usual starter, Byron Leftwich, sat out today's practice because of a sore ankle, and backup Garrard worked with the first-string offense.
Garrard and Leftwich had split the practice-field work Wednesday. Leftwich played with the ankle injury last weekend but was ineffective as the Jaguars suffered a lopsided loss to the Houston Texans.
