Jaguars Lose Leading Tackler Peterson
The Jacksonville Jaguars' defense suffered a major blow today when team officials learned that middle linebacker Mike Peterson will be sidelined for the remainder of the season because of a torn pectoral muscle suffered during Sunday's shutout win over the New York Jets.
Peterson is the team's leading tackler and the Jaguars' coaching staff wasn't immediately sure which player would be moved into the lineup as a replacement. The club has its bye this week.
