Alexander, Hasselbeck Poised to Return for Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks might get tailback Shaun Alexander and quarterback Matt Hasselbeck back this week.

Both are scheduled to practice and their playing status for next weekend will be determined by how they fare. Alexander, the reigning league most valuable player, has missed six games because of a cracked bone in his foot. Hasselbeck has missed three games because of a sprained knee ligament. But the Seahawks have a record of 6-3, having gone 3-3 without Alexander and 2-1 minus Hasselbeck.
