Bucs Place S. Rice on IR List

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers placed veteran defensive end Simeon Rice on the injured reserve list, ending his season, because of a shoulder injury.

Rice ends the season with a career-low two sacks. That ends a string of five straight seasons with more than 10 sacks.

Dewayne White replaces Rice in the starting lineup for Thursday's game at Dallas.
