Childress Irked About Turnovers But Sticks With B. Johnson as Vikings' Starter

Brad Johnson remains the Minnesota Vikings' starter at quarterback, Coach Brad Childress announced Tuesday.

Childress went to backup Brooks Bollinger after Johnson threw his third interception during Monday night's lopsided loss to the New England Patriots, but said during his news conference Tuesday that Johnson still is the team's starter.

Childress also said, however, that his insistence on not turning the ball over is "non-negotiable."
