M. Hasselbeck Reportedly Has Broken Finger on Non-Throwing Hand

Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck suffered a broken finger on his left hand during Monday night's triumph over the Green Bay Packers, a Seattle television station reported.

KING-TV reported that tests taken Tuesday showed the break. Hasselbeck was hurt when he hit his hand against another player's helmet, but he finished the game.

Even if the report is accurate, it was not immediately clear how the injury would affect Hasselbeck's playing status since it's to his non-throwing hand.

He missed four games with a sprained knee ligament before returning to the lineup Monday, one game after the Seahawks got back tailback Shaun Alexander following his six-game absence because of a cracked bone in his foot.
