Bucs Place WR Clayton on IR

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers placed wide receiver Michael Clayton on the injured reserve list because of a knee injury.

He finishes the season with 33 catches for 356 yards and one touchdown.

He's totaled 65 catches for 728 yards and one touchdown over the past two seasons after having 80 receptions for 1,193 yards and seven touchdowns as a rookie in 2004.

Clayton's injury won't require surgery but would have kept him sidelined for the remainder of the regular season, according to the Buccaneers.
