Childress Not Announcing QB Choice
Minnesota Vikings Coach Brad Childress today refused to name a starting quarterback for this week.
It seems likely that Childress will stick with struggling veteran Brad Johnson but he refused to rule out a possible switch to rookie Tarvaris Jackson, telling reporters that he wanted to keep the Detroit Lions guessing about which quarterback they will face Sunday.
Childress doesn't have a more experienced backup as an option because Brooks Bollinger has a shoulder injury.
