K. Warner Starting This Week, Says He Plans to Play Next Season

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner told reporters today that he intends to play next season.

Warner had indicated earlier in the season that he might retire. He lost the Cardinals' starting job to rookie Matt Leinart but has two seasons remaining on his contract in Arizona.

Warner is to start this weekend's season finale with Leinart on the shelf because of a shoulder injury.
