A. Smith Agrees to Extension With Steelers

Defensive end Aaron Smith agreed to a four-year contract extension with the Pittsburgh Steelers that runs through the 2011 season.

The deal includes a signing bonus of approximately $8 million and with the one remaining season on his existing contract is worth about $25 million over five years.
