L. Bentley Facing Another Surgery for Career-Threatening Knee Injury

Center LeCharles Bentley was one of the most coveted players on the NFL's unrestricted free agent market last offseason. He left the New Orleans Saints and signed a six-year, $36 million contract with the Cleveland Browns.

But he still hasn't played for the Browns and it's possible his career might be over.

Bentley missed all of last season after suffering a torn patellar tendon in his left knee on the opening day of training camp. Bentley underwent two surgeries, the second after developing a staph infection.

Now he might be facing another surgery, according to the Browns. If another operation is necessary, Bentley would miss next season and perhaps would not resume his NFL career.
