Saints Prepared to Put Franchise Tag on C. Grant

The New Orleans Saints probably will use their franchise player tag on defensive end Charles Grant to keep him off the unrestricted free agent market.

Grant will become the third defensive end league-wide to get the franchise tag following Justin Smith in Cincinnati and Dwight Freeney in Indianapolis.
