Browns Sign Bengals Lineman to Offer Sheet

The Cleveland Browns signed defensive tackle Shaun Smith, a restricted free agent from the Cincinnati Bengals, to an offer sheet.

The Bengals have a week to decide whether to retain Smith by matching the Browns' offer. They would not receive draft-pick compensation if they allow Smith to go to Cleveland.

The Browns also released cornerback Daylon McCutcheon.
