C. June Picks Bucs
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers landed one of the last few notable players remaining on the unrestricted free agent market when they agreed Saturday to a three-year, approximately $12 million contract with linebacker Cato June.
June leaves the Indianapolis Colts. It was the second significant free agent defection from the defense of the Super Bowl champions in recent days, coming on the heels of cornerback Nick Harper's signing with the Tennessee Titans.
June is an undersized linebacker who was projected by most teams as a safety coming out of college at the University of Michigan. But he's a reliable playmaker and is big and sturdy enough to play at linebacker in the defensive scheme used by both the Colts and Buccaneers.
