C. Palmer Gets Wish as Bengals Re-Sign Tight End

Quarterback Carson Palmer lobbied publicly just after the season ended for the Cincinnati Bengals to re-sign two free agents, tailback Kenny Watson and tight end Reggie Kelly.

The Bengals were listening. They made it two for two by re-signing Kelly to a three-year, $9 million deal today. The club previously had re-signed Watson.
