Cowboys Finally Get Safety Help By Signing Hamlin

The Dallas Cowboys signed safety Ken Hamlin to a one-year, $2.5 million contract today.

Hamlin is a former starter for the Seattle Seahawks and his signing addresses the Cowboys' long-standing need for a safety to start alongside Roy Williams. Keith Davis and rookie Pat Watkins shared the job last season but neither excelled.

Sweet...now Roy Williams will not be called on to pass defend so much. Williams is a great hitter but to say he struggles with pass defense is an under statement.
