League Sets Another Attendance Record

PHOENIX, Ariz.--The NFL announced that it set its single-season attendance record for a fifth year in a row.

Total paid attendance last season, including the preseason and postseason games, was just less than 22.2 million, or 66,666 per game.

The Washington Redskins led the NFL in attendance for a seventh straight season and set a single-season record for a team by drawing 708,952 to their eight regular season home games.
