Lions Stockpiling Runners

The Detroit Lions are giving themselves plenty of options at running back with Kevin Jones possibly sidelined for much or all of next season with a foot injury.

Friday's signing of free agent T.J. Duckett means the former Washington Redskins spare part can split time with Tatum Bell if the Lions are without Jones. The Lions previously obtained Bell from the Broncos as part of the trade that sent cornerback Dre Bly to Denver.

Duckett signed a one-year, $1.5 million deal.
