Raiders Sign J. Booty

The Oakland Raiders signed quarterback Josh Booty, who'd been out of the league since 2003.

Booty spent parts of three seasons with the Cleveland Browns but never has thrown a regular season pass in the NFL. He played baseball in the Florida Marlins organization before returning to football and playing in college at LSU.

New Raiders coach Lane Kiffin coached Booty's younger brother, quarterback John David Booty, at USC. Josh Booty joins Andrew Walter as the only quarterbacks currently on the Raiders' roster.

If Rohan Davey is not in the league how does this guy get an invite to camp? He is merely living off of his high school hype and none, and I repeat NONE, of the kids from his program have ever been any good in college, let alone the pros. LSU took off the following years with Davey as the QB. Booty never showed the big arm he supposedly had.

How bad must Aaron Brooks be that Josh Booty is considered a better alternative...
