Seahawks Make It Two Safeties in Two Days

The Seattle Seahawks, displeased with the play of their safeties this past season, remade the position in a two-day span.

The Seahawks signed Brian Russell on Friday, a day after signing fellow free agent Deon Grant.

Russell leaves the Cleveland Browns, for whom he played for two seasons following three seasons with the Minnesota Vikings. Russell has 15 interceptions in five NFL seasons, nine of which came in 2003 for the Vikings.
