Broncos Reportedly to Release A. Wilson
According to reports by several Denver-area news outlets, the Broncos plan to release linebacker Al Wilson.
Wilson is scheduled to conduct a news conference this afternoon to discuss his future. There are reports he might retire.
The Broncos nearly traded him to the New York Giants last month but the deal unraveled after Wilson underwent a physical for the Giants. According to some reports, the Giants had concerns about a neck injury sustained last season by Wilson, a five-time Pro Bowl selection.
