C. Grant Agrees to Longterm Deal With Saints

The New Orleans Saints and defensive end Charles Grant agreed to a seven-year contract that includes about $20 million in guaranteed money.

The Saints had placed their franchise player tag on Grant in February. If the two sides hadn't worked out a longterm deal, Grant would have played next season for a one-year, $8.644 million contract.
