D. Patten Lands With Saints

Wide receiver David Patten, released by the Washington Redskins, signed a one-year contract with the New Orleans Saints.

Patten totaled only 23 catches in two seasons with the Redskins after averaging 41 catches per year in four seasons with the New England Patriots.

He had stints with the New York Giants and Cleveland Browns prior to that.
