Jones Appeals Season-Long Suspension

Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam (Pacman) Jones has notified the league office that he is appealing the season-long suspension imposed on him by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell for violating the league's conduct policy.

Goodell suspended Jones, who's been questioned by the police in a series of incidents since being drafted in 2005 and is facing possible felony and misdemeanor charges stemming from a February incident in Las Vegas, for the entire 2007 season, but made the suspension reviewable after 10 games.

Jones previously had said he would appeal on the advice of his attorneys. No hearing is scheduled yet. Jones's appeal is to be heard by Goodell or a person appointed by him.

So, his appeal is to be heard by the guy who suspended him.

Does he pay those attorneys by the hour or keep them on retainer?
