Panthers Reportedly Making K. Jenkins Available on Trade Market

The Carolina Panthers reportedly are willing to listen to trade offers for three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Kris Jenkins.

The Charlotte Observer reported in recent days that the Panthers have informed other teams that Jenkins could be obtained in a trade for the right offer. It's not clear what the asking price is, but Jenkins apparently is expendable because of the Panthers' depth at defensive tackle. He reached the Pro Bowl last season after two injury-marred seasons, but is to count $4.5 million against the salary cap next season.
